Senior/Preaching Pastor, Erin Village Community Church

Erin Village Community Church is a body of believers worshipping God in the heart of Erin Village. By God’s grace, several years ago we were able to purchase a beautiful historic church within the heart of Erin, Ontario just over 1 hour west of Toronto.

Erin has recently experienced new housing development minutes away from our church with many young and established families.

Position Summary:

The primary ministry of our Senior Pastor is defined and characterized by Caring, Preaching, Teaching, Leading and Communicating.

· As a shepherd, our Senior Pastor will care for the sheep. As a preacher, our Senior Pastor will provide solid systematic biblical preaching.

· As a teacher, our Senior Pastor will guide, lead, and facilitate teaching.

· As a spiritual leader, we desire that our Senior Pastor would lead by example and empower our congregation to move us forward in our goal of reaching the lost.

· Finally, as a communicator, our Senior Pastor will effectively share God’s love to people from all backgrounds and with differing levels of spiritual understanding.

Education and Experience:

· As a minimum, the incumbent must be willing to work towards accreditation (licensing and ordination) in the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada denomination.

· The incumbent should possess a degree from a recognized educational institution in a relevant (theological) discipline

· Successfully demonstrated his ability to function at the Senior Pastor level with multiple staff.
