New Ventures is a ministry of The Alliance Canada that helps people, churches, and districts engage missionally in Canada. New Ventures: 17 active  | 3 new

Discerning Communities: 3 active | All new

One of the 3 Discerning Communities that started last year is now an emerging New Venture in Oakville! The Discerning Community was facilitated by Wing Cheung (Ellick) Wong and supported by the Canadian Chinese Alliance Church Association and Good Neighbour Chinese Church. Ellick is excited to continue on as a member of the lead team which will be supported by Rev. William Yung and Rev. Tommy Tsui. Please pray for Oakville Cantonese as they clarify their vision and consider their leadership and partnership needs. 

Discerning Apprentices: 6 active | 3 new

Our last partnership agreement of 2024 was with Slava and Yuliia Homa. Supported in partnership with Midland Alliance Church and the Central District Slava and Yuliia are dedicating this time of discernment to exploring ministry opportunities with Ukrainian, Russian & Turkish people who live in Ontario.
